Rime room escape, the name alone is reason enough to smile. One may perhaps cringe to such notion, if being locked up in an unfamiliar room without clear means of escape is a source of fear and anguish. Not exactly the case for this game however, as the rooms, although rustic and abandoned in appearance, are pretty well lit and nice looking. Not too horrible.
The graphics are fairly nice and life like. It gives a sort of old school western look. Although appearing flat and lacking in texture, everything is very pleasant on the eye. Providing an overall great experience.
The player wakes up in a foreign room to a dingy old book and like a seasoned investigator, must find their way out by searching for objects that are related with other objects, solving riddles, puzzles and connecting loose ends from one room to the next.
The gameplay is very well balance. The controls are very easy to pick up. The levels can be quite challenging. But overall the game is not too easy and also not overly difficult.
Recommended for casual gamers, puzzle gamers
